It’s hard to believe I’ve been in business for nearly 8 years now — helping brands grow through strategy, design, and digital marketing. Like many business owners, I’ve been so focused on my clients that I rarely stopped to work on my own brand.
But this year, I finally did 💛
Bee Smart Digital has had a full facelift and brand refresh — keeping the essence of the original concept but evolving it to reflect where the business is today: more experienced, more intentional, and more aligned with the quality of work I deliver.

Last year, Máire Treasa Ní Cheallaigh trusted us to design the website for her amazing startup, Go & Glow – an online prescription service for prescribed skincare & skincare consultations ✨ And just yesterday, Go & Glow celebrated its 1st anniversary! Huge congrats to the team! 🥳
Now, Máire Treasa's vision has expanded with the opening of Dr MT Clinic in Carrickmacross, County Monaghan. A doctor-led skincare and medical aesthetics clinic that offers evidence-based treatments and top-tier doctor-led care 👩⚕️💆♀️
We were so excited to be approached again to design the website for Dr MT Clinic (drmt.ie) and bring the same quality and care to their digital presence.

Hello 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣3️⃣ 🚀 As we go into our 5th year in business here at Bee Smart Digital, it's always good to reflect on what got us here..
The past 5 years have been amazing, challenging, exciting, and uncertain at times with the pandemic and its effect on Irish Tourism, (and the knock-on effect to tourism's suppliers). Luckily we have braved the storm, planned for the future, and continuously strived for our clients to help ensure their survival and growth as a business.
According to Statistica, the estimated impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on tourism revenue in Ireland in 2020 was almost €6bn 📉
Choosing the right digital marketing strategy and adapting it to overcome the micro & macro-economic forces, has never been so crucial. Now the tourism & hospitality sector is facing another crisis. Local businesses are encountering additional struggles with soaring inflation, the cost of energy sky rocketing, the decline in disposable income, the impact of war, the increase in VAT rate from 9% to 13.5% for the sector, national wage increases, and more.
Now is the time to plan for the future and drive your digital marketing strategy forward to overcome these obstacles 🚀 Easier said than done, right? 🤔
In 2020, despite the impact of the pandemic, we advised our clients to maintain their digital marketing efforts, while other businesses cut budgets and marketing activities. While many businesses suffered a great loss in revenue, our clients' revenue grew by substantial figures. The average online revenue increase for 2020 (pandemic year) vs 2019 (pre-pandemic) year was +31%. In 2021, average client revenue growth was +52% and in 2022, it was +69% 📈
These percentages represent the difference between five figures and six figures 💰💰💰💰💰💰
If the last few years have taught us anything, it's that a Digital Marketing Strategy is important. The right marketing support is important. Stay ahead of the game at all times, plan for the worst and strive for the best.
