To provide emotional support to people affected by cancer including those who care for them, from the time of diagnosis, through treatment and afterwards. To ensure a confidential, professional and caring service in a peaceful environment. To enable the person with a cancer diagnosis to gain control of their lives and to enhance coping skills. To take the fear out of the word ‘cancer’ by providing workshops and seminars on relevant subjects for the general public.
