I rarely post personal stuff on this page, but here is a clip of my latest hobby. It’s not perfect, I’ve only started learning this piece a month or so ago, but so far it’s one of my favourite: Debussy - Arabesque #1. It’s not the whole piece, I’ve only leaved about 2/3 of it, but I wanted to record progress. ☺️
I played piano as a child for about 7 or 8 years, and then successfully forgot about it (because I hated it back then). And only recently when I became interested in Debussy’s music, I’ve decided to buy a keyboard and try relearn it.
It’s great for many reasons: 1) I like the music and *I* get to choose what I play. 2) it’s an excellent exercise for brain and fine motor skills 3) it’s a nice hobby - keeps me away from scrolling on my phone 😅 4) there’s a nice sense of accomplishment when pieces start working out. So it’s a win on every aspect!

I have some new people on my page, so I would like to say hello to you and introduce myself 😃 first of all, welcome, I hope you’re having a lovely weekend.
I’m Kate (or Katia in Russian), I was born in Russia, but been living and working in Ireland since 2011.
I’ve been doing nails since 2009, and have teaching experience for a few years. I don’t teach at the moment, but thinking about getting back into it.
I chose this photo by to show you guys my real self. I may sometimes appear serious, but I’m actually just a big goofball 😄
I’m married and we have a cat called Mia. I love doggies too, my clients sometimes bring their dogs with, and that’s always a lot of fun. And we had a kitten called Dave a visitor once. 🥰
I work in a Business Park, in Tallaght, I turned a small office into a nail studio. You can check it out in my story highlights.
I take in new clients, and I book other nail techs as clients too. 😊
I’m not a very designy person, but I do love perfect shapes, clean lines and flawless application (as much as I can).
My main focus is aesthetics and safety. My clients trust me with their health, so I always use best quality products, sterile tools and disposable files to prevent any possible damage.
I mainly do two things: gel manicure (gel polish, biab, that stuff), and acrylic nails - refills and extensions. My superpower is acrylic french 😍.
