Hospitality Training Options

Hospitality Training Options has started a course in 'Basic Drinks Service' running 1 night a week in 'Bru Bar Fairview'.
The course includes the following:

Importance of Punctuality Presentation and Personality.
Correct handling and use of a round tray.
How to effectively and efficiently take a drink order.
Delivery drinks to tables.
Clearing glasses.
Shining glasses and polishing cutlery techniques.
Do's and Don'ts in the workplace.
Basic beverage and wine information.
How to work as part of a team.

The class is for 16-20 year olds and is designed to prepare students for their first steps into the industry.
The course uses simulated training scenarios to aid memory.

We have had a good response from the first 6 students. All students have applied to Croke Park Stadium for summer work. We await a positive response.
