Strawberries are higher in vitamin C than oranges and have much less sugar, they’re even allowed on ketogenic and low GI diets. Just a reminder to keep your vitamin C and D up and your sugars low for continued immunity. I’ve been getting a number of clients with long covid symptoms that show up a month or so after a seemingly mild infection.

I’m giving a workshop for mothers-to-be and their birthing partners to learn how to do acupressure for labour induction and reducing labour pain. It’s in collaboration with Yoga Dublin in Ranelagh on July 2nd. Just follow the link to book in.

Birthing partners will learn how to give acupressure on specific points that reduce pain in labour and help move the mother-to-be through the stages of labour. It’s a great way for partners to get involved in the process. Also for women who may be scheduled for medical induction but are hoping for spontaneous labour, this technique helps get the show on the road.

I’ve found in my practice that the body never lies. The mind can lie and we can tell ourselves and the people around us that everything is fine while every little stress is experienced by the body. I like to work with a persons body to see what pain or grief or fear might be there, what thoughts are being pushed out of the mind and into the pit of the stomach. Then we can shine a light on it. Once it comes up to the conscious level, it’s released from the body so it can’t cause harm anymore. In that way peace and freedom can be found for the body and the mind ❤️
