We are saddened by the challenges faced by Liberian children in accessing education. LEAP strives to expand scholarship opportunities to the most vulnerable population in Liberia and ask for your partnership and support. One scholarship recipients life changes dramatically as he/she is given an opportunity to learn and build an educational foundation as opposed to being a street seller.

I believe quality education is not a luxury which only financially sound people can have access to; it is rather a basic human need to be able to get primary education for a better future. It is unfortunate that many children around the world, especially in Africa do not have the means to go to school. Coming from a small village in India, back home I know some unfortunate children in my neighborhood who are not able to go to school for studying. I have done some volunteer work in the past which involved providing unprivileged children with educational materials and also teaching them at the primary level. It gave me an opportunity to witness the enthusiasm and dedication these children have for studying. I cannot imagine how my life would have been without any primary education.
