Delighted to see another low-energy computer lab being used by enthusiastic students at Ungwera University, Malawi. Delighted to be a part of this project. Total energy budget, less than 400Watts. Low-energy, low-maintenance, low-cost.

This is Kumbo in Cameroon. It is approximately 2,000m above sea-level, the site of a low-energy computer lab which will offer vocational training and further education to adults, as well as general broadband services. The total energy cost of the whole lab is approximately 337 Watts, which is less than 10% of the power requirement of a lab of standard desktop or laptop computers.
