Hanging at Joyce Country

Years ago on an online photography course it was suggested to me to leave the camera settings at, or as close to, Iris open to 18 - shutter @ 125 & ISO @ 100. I figured these people had never lived in Ireland, as our ever changing weather means constant adjustments to the settings, as well as refocusing and reframing, is the order of the day. That's not the case down under though. These are the skies that those instructors had thrived under. And why wouldn't they. P.S. The marsupial/rodent is a quokka and they only inhabit the island of Rottnest, which is just a 20km ferry trip from Perth.

Beautiful day for CorrĂ¡n Tuathail climb all the way up 'O'Shea's Gully, behind our own mountain goat from Marian Park, but the fog set in just before we reached the peak. The descent down a wet Devil's ladder takes a certain kind of loonitic.
