Action group set up to clean the Dodder and its tributaries, improve facilities and amenities along its length and fulfil the potential of this fabulous natural resource. In 2010 members of the Irish Green Party and local residents organised clean ups of the river on approximately 12 weekends from the Firhouse Weir to Clonskeagh. These pictures were taken at the Whitestown Stream, Bolbrook. There will be a clean up of the area this Saturday 18th July. Meet at 10am at the electricity pylon halfway down Avonbeg Road, Bolbrook. There is on street parking.
We also plan to do a cleanup at the Rathfarnham section of the river this Saturday at 10am. Meet at the small pedestrian bridge at the back of Bushy Park on Dodder View Road.
