NAMAlab is happy to announce it will be taking part in Settlement, an exhibition by artist Anthony Haughey in The Copper House Gallery. You are invited to this opening at 6pm – 8pm, Wednesday 26 October 2011. Writer, journalist and political commentator Fintan O’Toole, will open the exhibition.

Gerry Cahill_ Since the early 1980s Gerry Cahill has been Principal in GCA Gerry Cahill Architects and is a director of Urban Projects; established in 1997 to pursue urban design studies and major city regeneration proposals. Urban Projects won and successfully completed the commission for a large mixed-use development at Clarion Quay in Dublin’s Docklands as part of its extended regeneration. In 2007, this project received the RIAI Silver Medal for Housing. Gerry Cahill has been involved in the design of energy conscious buildings in the 1990s and was a Director of SEI – the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland from 2000 to 2006. In 2001 he received the Lord Mayor’s Award for his contribution to Dublin. He is currently a Design Studio Lecturer at UCD School of Architecture.
