Was reminded that October is Womanโ€™s Small Business Month โœจ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ

Itโ€™s exactly 1 year that I started this business. My family has supported and helped the whole way. Without my loved ones Iโ€™d never have the drive to continue on this venture. So much has happened in over one year and we want to start making a point to share on Fb more. We vendor in multiple locations throughout SD county and have met so many other amazing and talented Small Business Owners. Not to mention the growing number of woman business owners. I have a deep gratitude for the tips and encouragement these woman give me. As a mom, wife and founder of Simply Be, I need all the inspiration I can get. I look forward to sharing more of our growth and creations!

Love,

Bevy

Starting our way back to complete the loop by the 4th mile, my hip started hurting. "Great," I thought to myself in annoyance. Seeping in came all the regrets of doing this on my own. I should have brought someone with me to help. I had 3 more miles to complete and it was getting harder to walk toting a 30lb toddler strapped to me and pushing a 6-year-old in a stroller who lost energy to walk. A couple of mountain bikers zipped passed me waving hello. Some joggers smiled as Aiva yelled, "Happy New Year!!!!" at the top of her lungs. " Isn't this so much fun mom! " I wasn't listening to her this point. I finally stopped to take a break. My hip was radiating pain and I was reminding myself that I'm not like the other cool moms who can run triathlons, scale mountains, rescue people from burning buildings or whatever the hell else other super fit people powers they have...I was just Bev. "Mom?" her voice had lowered. I needed to get out of my thoughts. She sensed my hesitation was too much and climbed out of the stroller. Suddenly she said her legs were stronger now so the baby should sleep in the stroller. I felt weak that my own daughter was trying to help me. Defeated really...There was no time to get emotional though. I had 3 miles left and the rain was coming. So I put on some music from my phone and we ran, walk and danced for the rest of the way. We made it! My daughter was laughing and blissfully talking nonstop. She told me she couldn't wait to be as strong as me when she grew up. I smiled and simply said, "I'm strong because I'm your mommy".
