IRIS
IRIS is a collaborative project between DeafHear, Irish Deaf Society (IDS) and Sign Language Interpreing Services (SLIS). The IRIS project provides a video-link to an Irish Sign Language Interpreter, using a variety of programmes such as ooVoo, Skype and WeBex. The interpreter is based in the SLIS office and inteprets using a computer with internet access and a we**am. This is an additional service and does not replace face-to-face interpreting.
