____________________________

Hello, I be Shane Gilligan and I be the secretary.
I am a 4th year computer science student, but that's ok.
As the secretary I write the emails and by jove are they emails. I genuinely cannay wait to get crackalacking on writing these bad boys, just as I can't wait to start going to activities again properly (They are super fun). If I could describe myself in 3 words, it would be "Incredible at email" so you guys have really lucked out here.
Ok, adios my friends. Catch all you party rockers later!

____________________________

What’s up guys, I’m Eóin!
I’m a fourth year Economics and History student and Vice President of Fundraising.
As VPF, I’m glorified ents with the added benefit of bringing in those dollah dollah bills for all our activities.
And thanks to studying a lovely arts degree, I’ve so much time to get funky this year at our all our fundraisers and chase the bag for our vols.
It’s going to be a blast and can’t wait to see you all at our events this year

Why do we need an accessibility officer?
The accessibility officer functions as a point for contact for anyone who has an accessibility concern and assesses what can be done within the society to make it more inclusive and accessible.💕

What work do they do?
Support access for volunteers to trainings and activities
Advise the executive committee regarding accessibility and remind them to do things like include plain text versions on communications!
Come up with ideas and advocate for more sensory friendly and physically accessible events
Try and break down the barriers for people having to hold back from engaging in college life because of personal needs that are out of their control.
Communicate with the Accessibility Co-op
AND whatever you think! The role is only two years old and open to new ideas!

How can you apply?
Applications can be made by filling in the Google Form available in our story highlights on our profile 👆

When are applications due?
Applications are now due on Wednesday the 20th of April (pushed from Monday the 17th as someone may have forgotten TBall was this weekend…)

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, we are only a DM away! 🤗
