According to a new report from Insider Business, TikTok and Google are currently exploring a new partnership which would integrate Google search prompts, and potentially even results, into TikTok’s own search stream.

As spotted by app researcher Radu Oncescu, some searches entered within the app now present an option to perform the same search on Google.com. When users click on this link, they are directed to an in-app browser that showcases Google's search results for the given query.

As TikTok gains popularity as the preferred search engine among younger users, this partnership could aid in strengthening its market share.
