RATHBORNE 🏫

This week at FSA, our curriculum theme was Grocery Shopping, with a special interest in fruits and vegetables, and the children had so much fun exploring healthy foods through hands-on play and creative activities. 🍎πŸ₯•πŸŒ

Throughout the week, the children took part in lots of exciting experiences including role play, art, and sensory activities linked to shopping and healthy eating. The children loved pretending to be shopkeepers and customers in our grocery shop, helping to develop communication, social skills, and imaginative play.

The children also enjoyed stamping different shapes with paint to create colourful fruit and vegetable artwork, encouraging creativity, fine motor development, and self-expression. One of their favourite activities was making their own big shopping baskets to β€œgo shopping” with around the classroom.

With the beautiful warm weather this week, we also spent lots of time enjoying the garden, where the children had great fun taking part in outdoor play and cooling off with some water play activities. β˜€οΈ
