Creativity and collaboration in action. 🎨🤝
The Avista Birr team have really enjoyed collaborating with talented local artist Emma Barone Artist over 12 weeks, to bring their different ideas, skills, and creative flair together to produce this beautiful cyanotype collage.
Supporting local creativity helps keep our community vibrant, and we look forward to seeing this artwork on display at the Masonic Hall Birr, as part of Birr Vintage Week & Arts Festival 2026.
This project was funded by Offaly County Council and CreativeIrl
After 12 weeks of connection, creativity, and collaboration, the fruits of our labour are finally here!
I've had the absolute privilege of facilitating The Blue Vein Project with the wonderful participants of Avista Birr, and we are so proud to present this beautiful collaborative cyanotype collage.
Come see their incredible work on exhibit during Birr Vintage Week and Arts Festival at the Masonic Hall, Birr.

Finding calm in every day. ⚓️
Taking a few moments to pause, breathe, and focus on what brings comfort and peace can make a meaningful difference.
Individuals from Avista Stafford Day Services Nenagh recently completed a Positive Psychology and Wellbeing programme with Siobhan Connolly Hogan from Sonas Wellbeing in Roscrea. This programme has helped individuals to practice being in the present and apply new skills to help with everyday life.

Creating a recipe for success! 🍴🍛
Eugene, Marcus and Amy have just completed their 6-week cooking course at the Horizon Hub in TEES Dublin.
Over the past six weeks, they have developed practical cooking skills, grown in confidence, and taken important steps towards greater independence.
They have been busy sourcing and trying new ingredients and learning how to prepare some of their favourite meals from scratch.
Congratulations to you all—we’re so proud of your achievements, we hope to see you continue using your new skills and build on your confidence in the kitchen for many years to come! 👏🍳
