Excited to be at the Circular by Design event in Dublin City today. Particularly as one of the participating companies is using selvage from a participant in the Circular Upholstery Textiles project

Inspiring discussions at the first workshop of the Circular Upholstery Textiles project yesterday, facilitated by anois and attended by , , Sofa Source and .

Thank you to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Ireland for funding the project and to The Heritage Hotel in Laois for supporting our request for as few single-use items as possible.

Great to see pencils instead of pens and refillable water bottles and reusable ceramic cups (although we ran out of two at the end of the day!)

So impressed with the ethos and quality of the heritage brand in Foxford, Co Mayo

In addition to a great on-site store and cafe, their product and factory is imbued with over a century's worth of legacy and knowledge.

They're participating in the funded Circular Upholstery Textile (CUT) Project I'm working with on, and I'm looking forward to seeing where it takes them.
