Last week, our team headed out to Howth for our summer staff day.

It was a great chance to step away from our desks, enjoy the sunshine, and spend time together outside of the office.

We're grateful for days like these and for the people who make our work so meaningful.

While millions of children are going hungry, billions are being invested in outer space. Last year, World Vision operated on less than 5% of that figure. Yet with those resources, 2.8 million people gained access to clean water, more than 7 million children and women were screened for malnutrition, and over 35 million people received humanitarian assistance.

This is not an argument against exploration. It's an argument for balance. The evidence is clear: every $1 invested in child nutrition generates an estimated $23 in economic returns. Invest $75 billion in children, and the return could reach $1.7 trillion, equivalent to the projected valuation of SpaceX.

The real question isn't whether we can afford to invest in children. It's whether we can afford not to.
