15th May will be International Virtual Assistant Day 💛…and it got me thinking.

Instead of just posting about what I do as a VA, I decided to challenge myself a little this month. Nothing big. Nothing complicated.

Just showing up here more. Posting more. Being a bit more present.

Sounds simple… but if I’m honest, it’s not always that easy.
I spend a lot of time creating content for my clients: planning, designing, helping them stay consistent, and somehow my own feed is always the one that gets pushed to the side.

We even have a saying in Hungarian for this… “when the hangman is being hanged…” (when the person who’s supposed to be doing the thing… avoids doing the thing 🙃)

To be fair, there was a reason for it. Over the past year, I focused more on my email list instead. (And yes… I do have one 😉 link in the BIO if you’re curious and want to sign up.)

But now I’m at that point where I’m wondering…
what would happen if I showed up here more consistently for a month?
What kind of conversations would start?
Who would I meet?

So this is my little May experiment.

Today I had a lovely morning at ’s networking event.

Big thank you to Brendan Finn and Eimear Duffy for organising it. Such a well put-together session.

I met new people, heard about interesting ideas, and learned more about mentoring opportunities too.

And the atmosphere made all the difference.

Networking can feel a bit… uncomfortable sometimes (especially if you’re more on the introverted side 🙋‍♀️), but this felt easy. Natural. Friendly.

Also, great coffee, by the way, which always helps 😉
