Mallow community childcare is expanding, and we are looking for suitably qualified Early Years Educators to join our wonderful team. We are recruiting room leaders and assistants to work with school age children. We have a strong ethos in child led education and nurturing development through an emergent curriculum.

Requirements
· Minimum QQI Level 5
· Minimum 1 years’ experience but newly qualified educators may apply.
· A knowledge of Siolta and Aistear
· Is enthusiastic and creative in their role.
· A friendly caring nature with a passion for working with children.
· Garda vetting will need to be completed prior to starting the role.
Must be available to work between 7.45am-6pm

Mallow community childcare is recruiting a Chef to join our team.
Hours: 30 hours per week 9.30am-3.30pm
Contract: Permanent
Start date: 7th August.
Location: Ballyellis mallow
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve meals to approx. 54 children.
• Place meat, fruit & veg and dry goods orders to our office.
• Understand the dietary requirements and allergy requirements of the children in attendance in the service.
• Maintain necessary kitchen procedures and records in accordance with MCC and Environmental Health policies and processes.
• Liaise with Manager on the ordering of necessary kitchen equipment.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene, health and safety is maintained in the kitchen at all times.

Requirements
• Previous relevant experience
• Full HACCP food handling course
• Professional and motivated

Community Employment Childcare Assistant position available in Mallow Community Childcare.

19.5hrs per week.
Basic rate of pay is €247.50 per week.
All training fully paid for by DEASP.

To be eligible for CE, you must be over 21yrs old and in receipt of a social welfare payment for more than 12mths.
