Graphic design is EVERYWHERE! It's the way we visually communicate with the world. Graphic design is a constantly evolving profession as we move into a more digital world (so make sure your company keeps up!)

Here's some fun facts about graphic design:

Did you know that the ancient Egyptians are credited to be the first logo designers using hieroglyphs to mark domestic animals.

Johann Gutenberg, who developed the printing press, allowed for typography and eventually designs to be produced on a wider scale.

It was in 1922 that the term graphic design was first coined as an emerging profession by the typographer William A. Dwiggins.
