⛽ SEAT Ibiza – Fuel Leak ⛽

This Ibiza came in with a fuel leak, something we’ve seen a good few times on these engines.

The issue is usually the fuel rail bolt snapping (most of the time the left hand one). When that happens, the fuel rail lifts slightly, unseats itself, and ends up damaging the injector seal, which then causes fuel to leak out the side.

We’ve dealt with this fault before and were able to sort it on the same visit, getting the car fixed and safe without any delays.

Double trouble 2 Mercedes today two different faults resolved same day. One suffered from adblue issues whilst the other dpf blockage.

We pride ourselves on first time fixes and with over 20 years of combined experience in vehicle repair across multiple manufacturers we delivered those fixes today.

We came prepared we resolved the adblue issues with a clever software solution. The vehicle now operates as it should.

On the second vehicle we applied a chemical dpf cleaning and dynamic regeneration resolving the issue, in the process we found the reason for the dpf becoming blocked a boost pipe partially open unfortunately a design flaw in the vehicle but something we have seen before. After securing the pipe the vehicle was running flawlessly

Having the right tools to diagnose issues makes life much easier this Toyota was causing a lot of head scratching but thankfully with some very clever diagnosis tooling we saved our client hundreds in possible sensor replacement with what turned out to be a blocked pipe.
There was no fault codes to suggest the fault but thanks to previous experience and tooling we could provide a very efficient and affordable repair.

🔧 Mobile Diagnostics – VW Passat 🚗💨
We were recently called out to a customer with a Volkswagen Passat that was experiencing running issues and displaying the engine management light. After carrying out a full diagnostic scan on-site, we found the following fault codes:
➡ P2146 – Fuel Injector Group "A" Supply Voltage Circuit/Open
➡ P0606 – ECM/PCM Processor Fault
We then proceeded with a series of thorough checks at the vehicle, including continuity testing, voltage supply to the injectors, and an inspection of the injector wiring loom — all of which were found to be within specification.
With no faults present in the external wiring, we moved on to testing the ECU directly. Using a scope, we measured the injector driver signals and identified irregular outputs. Combined with the processor-related fault code (P0606), this pointed towards an internal failure within the ECU itself.
✅ Final Diagnosis: Faulty ECU (internal failure)
The customer was provided with a full diagnostic report and clear guidance on ECU replacement and reprogramming options.

🔧 2007 Skoda Fabia – Windscreen Wipers Inoperative ⚡

We were recently called out to a 2007 Skoda Fabia with an issue where the windscreen wipers remained inoperative, despite the motor having already been replaced.

Initial diagnostics revealed no stored fault codes and no wiper operation. We began by verifying that the wiper stalk was sending the correct signals to the Body Control Module (BCM) – all inputs were present and functioning as expected.

We then tested the integrity of the circuit beyond the BCM by manually powering the wiring loom. The wipers operated correctly during this process, confirming both the wiring and the motor were in good working order.

With inputs confirmed and the output circuit proven, the fault was narrowed down to the BCM itself. Further inspection revealed an internal short circuit within the wiper relay, which on this model is integrated into the BCM.

✅ Confirmed fault: internal relay failure within the BCM.
