We’re proud to see one of our Bádóireacht crews featured in this article.
Our Dunfanaghy currachs are community-built, and our young rowers are carrying currach heritage forward in their own way.
It may not be the traditional image of a currach crew, but it shows exactly what currach rowing in Ireland is today: vibrant, active, and alive.

Everyone here in Meitheal Mara is still in recovery mode after the epic Ocean to City race on Saturday.
With over 660 competitors and hundreds of volunteers on and off the water, we are quite proud of what our little organisation has achieved ☺️
We will be sharing lots of fantastic images from the event over the coming days. In the meantime checkout this video which gives a great snapshot of the grit and determination of our rowers & paddlers on the day.
