A collection of new tunes, covers, and re-imagined versions of songs that you may, or may not, have heard from me in the past.

I’m equally in love with the shine of a polished song off a studio album, the rawness of an early bedroom demo, and the presence of a live performance. I had an immense desire to record a handful of songs that best represent how I’ve been touring lately, but feared that I’d be forced to sacrifice some of the feel of how I play them live if I approached the recording like a studio album. That desire, along with acquiring a pair of cardioid condenser mics, were the catalysts to recording Borrowed & Blue in the comfort of my home.

I couldn’t have done it without who co-produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered it, as well as entertained every one of my “oh, can we try this” ideas, and executed all of my inarticulate mix notes.
