☀️ Sunburn in childhood can increase the risk of skin cancer later in life.
Whether you're heading to the beach, the park, or spending time in the garden, protecting babies and children from the sun is essential, especially between 11am and 3pm from April to September - even on cloudy days.
☂️ Keep babies in the shade
👕 Dress children in loose, close-woven clothing
🧴 Apply SPF 50+ sunscreen with UVA & UVB protection to exposed skin
💦 Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours and after swimming
🕶️ Choose wraparound sunglasses for UV eye protection
☀️ Remember: A tan is not protection - it's skin damage

It’s the night before the big day! 🚴 And Killarney is full of anticipation as thousands of cyclists arrive ahead of The Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle.
We’ve been welcoming our amazing cyclists at registration, hearing the stories behind why they’re taking on the challenge and thanking them for helping to fund research into new, better, smarter and kinder treatments and diagnostics for people with cancer.
The excitement is building, the bikes are ready, and we can’t wait to cheer everyone on tomorrow.
