Hangout Mallow

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Assistant to join our team at hangout As a Kitchen Assistant, your main responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, as well as providing assistance to our talented chef. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.

- Assist the chef in preparing ingredients, including chopping, peeling, and portioning, as required.

- Support the chef in cooking and plating dishes, following their instructions and recipes.

- Maintain proper stock levels of ingredients, ensuring everything is adequately organized and stored.

- Wash and store dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils promptly after use.

- Empty and clean garbage bins regularly, adhering to waste management guidelines.

- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and inform the management when replenishment is needed.

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures.

- Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or similar role is preferred, but not required.

- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.

- Excellent cleanliness and hygiene practices.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
