The results of my yellow self portraits 🌻💛🐥🌼🍋

I like to challenge myself all the time. If something feels a bit scary, I know it’s something I have to do. That’s where the magic happens. That’s how I’m growing into the woman I know I want to be. All I need is an extra one percent of courage every day.

On the day of this self-portrait photoshoot, I drove around Northern Ireland looking for a quiet spot surrounded by yellow bushes. I felt as if I were about to jump off a cliff. My body felt so scared, as if there was immediate danger. Luckily I could calm myself down and I told my body that there was actually no danger. I told myself that I wasn’t going to die, and that the worst thing that could happen was a farmer asking me to leave his land.

And that didn’t even happen! I had a gorgeous morning on my own. It made me feel very empowered, and I’m so happy with the results 🥰
