All Cork County Shield

The 4th year of the All Cork Shield was a great success amongst the 600 or so participants, staff and the public alike. I was the Subcamp Chief on Solar Explorers and I was blown away by the hard work that the Patrols put into their sites and bases over the course of the weekend.

On Saturday, we had local politicians come and visit, including the Lord Mayor Fergal Dennehy. Between that, the media coverage and the volume of visitors, suffice to say Cork Scouting is well supported and in good hands. Well done to all the organisers.
