Sree Shiva Academy is thrilled to announce the Bharathanatyam Rangapravesham of their talented disciple, Kumari Airene Jose, taking place on the 15th of March 2025 at Draíocht Theatre, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.

A Rangapravesham is a significant milestone in a Bharathanatyam dancer’s journey—an opportunity to explore and showcase their artistry through a carefully curated solo performance. This stage represents the culmination of years of dedicated training, performances across diverse platforms, and a deep connection to the art form. Traditionally accompanied by a live orchestra, it allows the dancer to present compositions that are both technically intricate and emotionally evocative.

Guided by the vision of Sri. Vishnu Shankar, Airene will bring a fresh perspective to timeless pieces, combining precision in nritta with the expressive beauty of abhinaya. Each piece in her repertoire has been selected and choreographed to highlight her versatility and skill, offering a unique take on traditional items. The live orchestra will complement and enhance the dynamic nature of her performance, creating an unforgettable evening.

Sree Shiva Academy is elated to announce the Bharathanatyam Kacheri of their disciple, Kumari Lakshmipriya Kingkumar on the 22nd of March 2025 at Draoicht Theatre, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.

Lakshmipriya will be presenting a true, authentic solo Kacheri. By definition, a Kacheri is not ones debut performance, but an amalgamation of years of dedicated training, education and performing across various stages and productions. The chance for a solo performer to truly showcase their capabilities, exploring different compositions specifically composed for them and traditionally accompanied by a live orchestra.

Priya will take to the stage to present an intricate series of compositions, carefully selected and choreographed by Sri. Vishnu Shankar to present new takes on traditional items. Each piece is an exemplary combination of nritta and abhinaya, supplemented by the dynamic orchestra.
