Perceptions in Ireland around Down Syndrome are changing but it's happening far too slowly. Often the attitudes that our parents encounter from the hospital onwards are negative and based on old stereotypes. We can help change this by truly celebrating these gorgeous bundles of perfection when they arrive into the world. It's sad but true to say that parents often never hear 'congratulations' after the birth of their child and we want to change this. All of the money raised will be used to create these baskets of love and to ensure that they are delivered to women who, having received their child's diagnosis, would like to receive our little welcome gift.
