Ait or Athlone Rtc rugby began with the college and under Welshman Colin Evans enthusiastic tenure thrived until he handed over to the legendary Paul Hamilton .In 1988 Paul enveigled Charlie Couper into coaching and in 1992 we won our first Senior Div 1 all Ireland title.A few years later Paul left and Charlie asked Kevin O Sullivan to be Chairman.There followed another All Ireland in 1997 and for
Ait Rugby Screening this year is on Friday 3rd of January 2020 from 12 till 2pm.
Including
*Rugby drills and games on Ait Astro.
*Short tour of Ait facilities including high performance gym
cryotherapy pods and indoor running arena.
*Scholarship criteria .
*Access of up to 50 additional points for elite athletes.
*A meal in Ait canteen.
*Ait staff will be on hand to discuss course options.
