Athenry Community Playground

Update!

It has been a busy week down at the Playground! The old equipment has been removed and the workmen are preparing the ground for the installation of the new units!
The robinia play equipment has travelled across the continent and is ready to be built and installed.

Thanks to Kompan for working steadily in this weather and for working with us to progress as quickly as possible!

Lots of boys and girls have been down to see the works and the workmen (Alan and Alan) have been so friendly to them! We will keep them topped up with ice cream and sandwiches. It’s no joke in this heat!

The construction of the Junior Play Area will commence on Monday. 🥳

We, as a committee are very excited to see all of the newness!

We start with a free trial session this Wednesday June 3rd at 7am 🕖

We will host classes every Monday and Wednesday morning in the Athenry community centre

Times for the classes going forward are to be decided, but we will start with 7am this Wednesday.
