Arklow Medical Practice
Babies born from March 25 to August 25 are being offered vaccination against RSV in special clinics until 10th October 25 to catch up. This vaccine protects against a virus which can cause serious illness in babies. Cases of RSV (bronchiolitis) including admissions to hospital and to ICU have been significantly reduced since the introduction of this vaccine. We encourage you to avail of this free and very effective way of helping to keep your baby well. Use this link to book your appointment. Please note that babies born between Sept 25 and Feb 28 will be offered the vaccine in maternity hospitals and we will not be getting supplies of this vaccine at the surgery and will not be making bookings or giving this vaccine.
