Hello, dears!🙏⠀

🎨The island of Bali attracts hundreds of creative individuals from all over the world. You will meet many people in the cultural capital of the island of Ubud. Sculptors, artists, dancers, writers, yogis, massage therapists, Reiki, theta healing, singing bowls, matrices, Jyotish specialists, and so on, all here. Ubud is called a city of three-eyed and creative people, here everyone realizes themselves in something – they draw, sing, and sculpt.⠀

🗿Today we will tell you about a Balinese sculptor who showed himself in Balinese history. This Is Gusti Lempad.⠀

Not far from the Royal Palace in Ubud there is a Balinese house with the sign "Lempad house". Once upon a time it was home of the famous Bali talented sculptor, architect, woodcarver and artist Gusti Nyoman Lempad.⠀

🏚️Now the house belongs to the artist's children there is a small Museum (scroll through the photos). Anyone from the street can go into the courtyard see the room where the master worked, see some of his works, stone and wooden sculptures, paintings and reliefs.⠀

👨Gusti Newman Lampada was an interesting person and even longevity. He died at the age of 116 and chose the date of his death.⠀

🏵️Gusti Lempad was born in 1862 in the capital of the ancient Kingdom of Bali - Bedulu. In 1883 Lempad already became a famous sculptor.⠀

🌋In 1885 a devastating eruption of Batur volcano occurs and the Lempad family finds shelter in Ubud under the patronage of king Chokord.⠀

In 1890 Lempad helped build a Palace in Ubud.⠀

In 1952 Lempad built the Saraswati temple in Ubud.⠀

In 1950 at the age of 90 Lempad was one of the founders of the art school in Ubud. His talents as an architect and sculptor are in great demand.⠀

☁️In 1978 according to the Balinese lunar calendar Pavukon was the day of Kageng Kliwon. On this day the sculptor Lempad says goodbye to his family and asks to continue his work. After saying goodbye to his family Gusti Lempad died.⠀

🗿Will be in Ubud look in the yard Gusti Lampada!⠀

🌈There are hundreds of swimming pools in Bali, several water parks and we especially prefer hot springs. Today a selection of hot springs.⠀

Add a post to bookmarks 📲 and put a ❤⠀

🌈1.So, number one. Hot springs inside a large Caldera overlooking the Batur and Abang volcanoes. There you will find about a dozen hot volcanic springs our favorite Airlines. Highly recommended!⠀

🌈2. Hot springs in the village of Penebel. Picturesque hot springs near the icy mountain river. Excellent combination of hot and cold plus a picturesque view of the mountain river and the jungle.⠀

🌈3. Banjar or hydrogen sulfide springs in the North of Bali near Lovina. Bright green, fountains in the Balinese style, cute and unpretentious.⠀

🌈All sources are pleasant and useful! We recommend you to visit 🙏⠀

How is garbage sorted and disposed of in Bali?🚯⠀

🌿Currently, most of the garbage in Bali go to the garbage dump and into the ocean. There is no garbage processing plant on the island. The Balinese themselves sort their garbage as follows: organic waste is given to Pets or buried, the paper is burned, plastic is also tried to be burned or thrown away.⠀

🌿We do approximately the same at home, we dig a compost pit for organic waste, burn paper, and use plastic repeatedly.⠀

🌿Most of the tourists and people living on the island, of course, do not bother much with compost and burning. The garbage is put in a single bag: food and plastic mixed together and thrown into a common village garbage dump.⠀

🌿It is believed that Balinese people do not think much about plastic and throw everything on the ground. There is this, especially when it comes to plastic cups of water and all sorts of chips and sweets. But still, Balinese, in my opinion, unlike tourists, their garbage is somehow trying to dispose of.⠀

🌿Now in tourist places, in supermarkets, plastic bags are prohibited, there are canvas bags on sale. In tourist places, you can also buy glass or metal, your own personal, juice tubes. Glass or aluminum refillable water bottles. Canvas bags, string bags, and so on. All this is very popular among tourists and long-livers of the island, although it helps more to the external side of the issue of sorting and recycling garbage because at home people continue to put all the heterogeneous garbage in one package and send it to the landfill.⠀

🌿 makes a positive contribution to the issue of waste disposal by installing two bags for paper and plastic garbage in homes, which are collected every week and sent for recycling to the island of Java.⠀
