Flying Dervish

At the age of 19, I was an assistant pastor and my sister became a Muslim. I told her that Islam is a false religion. I went to a bookstore and purchased a German translation of the Quran. I wanted to read the Quran and show her its mistakes, but after reading 3 pages I fell in love with the Quran and started reading a lot more. After a while, I started looking for more information about Islam and asked a senior pastor “You tell me which religion should I choose?” He said, “I don't know. But I know someone who will tell you what to choose." I asked "who?" He said "God." Pray for guidance and he will give you the answer.

I went home and placed the Quran on my chest and opened a random page and read the following verse, “Call on me, I will answer you. (40:60)” I took this as an indication and a few days later I embraced Islam. One year later, I went to Umrah and became attached to the Salafi movement and during my stay in Makkah I was invited to a Dhikr gathering by my British friend but I refused and said this was an innovation. That night, I had a dream of a man who I had not seen before and he was wearing a white turban and he invited me to attend the gathering and I dreamt of him every week for a few months.

After my return to Germany, the same friend said he was going to see his Shaykh in Cyprus and he invited me to come. I refused at first, but after some insistence from him I accepted. We arrived in Cyprus on Friday and went to the Grand mosque of Nicosia and it was completely full of German, French and British people and I was surprised by this. After a few moments, everyone stood up and Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani entered and I was shocked as this was the man that I kept on seeing in my dream. He walked up to me and looked me in the eyes and said “I have been calling you for a year. Where have you been?” And from that day I left the Salafiya and began studying with the Shaykh.

Pintu telah dibukakan untuk membacanya, pertama untuk ego kita agar tidak membuat kita menyimpang, kemudian untuk melawan semua yang berusaha menyerang kita khususnya instrumen Iblis yang mengaku bertindak atas nama Islam.

During one of the elections Recep Tayyip Erdogan asked Sayyid Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani al-Qubrusi (Alayhi Rahma) to pray for the elections in Istanbul because he was running for Mayor.

The Shaykh laughed and said, “Don’t worry, the elections in Istanbul are already yours. I’m going to make [Dua for] you [to become] the president of Turkey.”

Erdogan became the mayor of Istanbul that same year and later became the president. ✌️
