The massing strategy emerges as a direct response to common challenges found in wide-span structures, particularly padel courts, where natural ventilation and daylighting are often insufficient. By introducing a three-sided sloped roof, the design facilitates the upward flow of warm air, enabling effective cross-ventilation throughout the interior. The elongated polycarbonate façade panels further emphasize the site’s horizontal proportions while creating a floating visual effect for the roof structure.

The balanced composition between solid and open volumes allows the building to remain visually inviting to visitors, while maintaining a sense of privacy from the exterior — defining MA Padel as both an open and intimate architectural experience.
