PONCO is proud to supply manpower to the Jackup Rig COSL Seeker by COSL Drilling Pan Pacific Ltd, operated by Conrad Petroleum. Having just left Labuan, the next project is at the Mako South - 1 well location in the Natuna Sea, Indonesia. It’s located in the Duyung PSC set in water depths of 60-100 meters and associated shallow drilling depths up to 2,000 feet. According to the LEAP CPR, the Mako Shallow gas discovery contains between 400 Bcf to 1.3 Tcf of gas in place.

PT. Ponco Oilfield Supplies & Services is proud to announce it is now certified as OHSAS 18001:2007 compliant organizations. The certification is accredited by Worldwide Quality Assurance (WQA)

To become certified as OHSAS 18001:2007 compliant PT. Ponco Oilfield Supplies & Services underwent an evaluation process that included quality management system development, a management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances, all of which work to identify corrective actions that elimination non-conformance to the Occupational Health and Safety Management standard.

The process culminated in a comprehensive registration audit by WQA. After correction and closure of all non-conformances, PT. Ponco Oilfield Supplies & Services received its OHSAS 18001:2007 certificate of registration on December 9, 2016.

With this certification, our clients can be confident that PT. Ponco Oilfield Supplies & Services is dedicated to maintaining the highest safety in achieving our ultimate goal guaranteed client satisfaction. PT. Ponco Oilfield Supplies & Services is certified as meeting the requirements of OHSAS 18001:2007 for the following activities:

It has been an eventful week here at PONCO. General Manager Daren and Head of Operations Faoli paid a visit to our Singapore head office and discussed projections for 2017.

Together with CEO Robin and operations manager Darryl, they also took time to do a management visit to the drillship, Norshore Atlantic where they checked on the well being of our PONCO drilling and catering crew.

They also attended the OSEA 2016 exhibition at the Marina Bay Sands to check out the latest happenings and solutions for the oil and gas industry before flying off to our Surabaya office.

PONCO organised a movie outing for staff from both its Indonesia and Singapore office to watch the new hollywood movie “Deepwater Horizon”. Deepwater Horizon is based on the real life event that took place on the rig which led to an explosion killing 11 crew members and causing the largest oil spill in U.S. waters.

Staff had a great time bonding over the movie outing, but more importantly, it drove home the point that SAFETY is of paramount importance and should never be compromised. After the movie screening, PONCO management led the staff in a lively discussion to further instil lessons learnt from the movie.

New employees from the Singapore office also took a tour of the shipyards in the west of Singapore to see the many rigs and vessels docked in Singapore.

This training consist of Offshore Safety Induction, Basic First Aid Training, Basic Fire Fighting, Basic Sea Survival and Helicopter Underwater Escape Training

Ponco representatives Robin and Hari attended a great and inspirational talk by the Bali Green School team, supported by the Indonesian Tourism ministry, and sponsored by STA. Visionary John Hardy was last but not the least, and inspired many to go green and to visit the green school in Bali. We hope to visit again one day soon!
