It's Monday! Is it a bad news or good news? 😝 ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
What's your regular routine to punch Monday right in the face? We suggest you to drink Masala Chai in the morning before going to work and you'll be feeling calm to start the day 🌱 ⁣⁣

Thank you to our resident, Canti from Foxglove Tarot, for sharing this tea to our team! 💙

Gathering, discussing, or simply just hanging out when you're unoccupied - simply described the way of co-living!

CoHaus Neighborhood

High-end housings usually are associated with a lush and posh neighborhood. Concrete-blocked paving alleys, rows of well-maintained trees, street vendors selling all kinds of small snacks, then street lamps installed in order. That’s what the residents are supposed to see. In another side, things differ at CoHaus housings.

Located at Tanah Baru street, which is side by side with its luxurious neighborhood of Permata Hijau, CoHaus accidentally brings a series of everyday life nodes where locals interacting with sellers at morning market, motorcycle rider looking at bird shop’s collections, then children riding back and forth with their bicycles, and middle-aged housewives making small talk in food shops ‘warung’. For some group, it’s well described as one disasterous sight. But also as one beautifully chaotic sight for some.

One of our guest who’s professing as chef and baker were inspired from how the grocer displays their gourds, broad bens, or papayas and how they fry their banana and tauge-filled tofus which make as delightful afternoon snacks.
When this comes to each perception, it depends on personal preferences. However, we would like to embrace this unique kind of neighborhood as a delightful treat to our residents. We're thankful for this city's village existence.

It’s almost the end of June, let’s enjoy Jakarta!

Taking our residents to learn and drink Jamu (traditional Indonesian herbal medicine)!⁣🌱⁣

Together we saw how Beras Kencur (aromatic galangal mixed with rice) and Kunyit Asam (turmeric & tamarind) were made using V60 and latte techniques just like how coffee is made. They call it .⁣🌱⁣

Thank you Acaraki for helping us to host our residents!
