World Oceans Day reminds us that protecting our oceans starts with understanding them.

That’s why today we’d like to introduce you to the Marine Research and Conservation Foundation (). This UK-based marine conservation charity working to better understand and protect threatened sharks, skates, rays and turtles through underwater surveys, BRUVS (baited remote underwater video) deployments and field research.

We’re proud that Suunto technology supports their work, helping researchers collect reliable data and uncover new insights into marine life, particularly in often-overlooked temperate coastal waters.

Because protecting our oceans isn’t a one-day effort, it’s work that needs to happen year round.
