🌈People who suffer from back pain often also experience neck discomfort, are prone to headaches, and have tension in the legs. Many women experience back pain after cesarean section, even long after their wounds have healed. Understanding fascia helps us understand our bodies more holistically. Our head and neck are not separate from our waist; our abdominal muscles are closely connected to our back and waist. Fascia is a connective tissue composed of collagen fibers (among others) that connects all parts of our body into a functional whole. Caring for and nourishing fascia is key to a comfortable, more flexible, and pain-free body.
