One of the greatest empires in history was established by the ambitious young monarch Alexander the Great. In his search for immortality, he discovered that even legends can be forgotten, despite his conquests spanning from Macedonia to far-off places.

Imagine a war that was so intense that it lasted for 116 years, shattering alliances and altering kingdoms. Two titans of mediaeval Europe, France and England, were engaged in a titanic war for supremacy. The crowns fought over the very centre of Europe, not merely for thrones. In blood-soaked fields, England's longbowmen tore French knights to shreds. However, the course of battle was unpredictable. Joan of Arc, a peasant girl who commanded armies with divine conviction, proved to be an unlikely saviour for a fragmented and impendingly destroyed France.

England appeared to be unbeatable, but then bad luck struck. They withdrew, worn out from countless engagements and betrayed by their own division. What about the twist? England lost nearly everything after all the fighting, fire, and death. Instead of ending in victory, the Hundred Years' battle concluded with England holding onto what was left of France a defeat disguised as a battle for victory.
