KAKBHUSHUNDI DESCRIBES KALI YUGA TO GARUDA:

"No one adheres to the duties of their caste," Kakabhushundi explained, "and the four Ashramas, or stages of life, have also vanished. Every man and woman takes pleasure in rebelling against the Vedas. Brahmanas sell their sacred knowledge for profit, and kings exploit their subjects; no one respects the wisdom of the scriptures."

"People follow whatever path they fancy, and those who boast and brag are considered scholars. Hypocrites who engage in deceptive practices are hailed as saints. Those who steal the wealth of others are considered clever, and those who maintain a false facade of piety are seen as devout followers of tradition. Liars and those skilled in deception are praised as witty and intelligent in the Kali Yuga."

"Those who are wicked and have abandoned the path of the Vedas are mistakenly seen as wise and detached. And those with long nails and matted hair are hailed as renowned ascetics, despite their lack of true spiritual depth."
