Hello Tango
🌟 Meet Dan, our Student of the Month 🌟
Originally from the UK and now living in Budapest for 5 years, Daniel, or Dan, has always enjoyed staying active, recently replacing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and rock climbing with tango. He also loves art, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and building online businesses.
Why tango?
"Well, firstly my friend would not shut up about it and secondly I have always been a bit nervous/self-conscious when it comes to dancing and I wanted to fix that."
Dan chose Hello Tango because of the opportunity to dance with other expats. One unexpected challenge has been discovering how much he needs to improve his posture, but he appreciates the benefits he’s seen in everyday life. 💪🏻
Any tango goals or dreams?
"I love the idea of having a passion hobby as a vehicle to travel and meet people (maybe Turkey and of course Buenos Aires), really my goal is to just keep progressing as that gives me a lot of fulfilment in itself - I love the complexity and depth of tango for this reason."
Dan's thoughts on the community, classes, and teachers:
"Everyone has been so friendly and there is a great mix of ages and backgrounds, classes are never too overwhelming and teachers are very warm and attentive and genuinely seem happy to be there. Basically thanks and keep up the great work guys and to the chefs in the group please keep bringing tasty desserts to the Milonga Primeras ;)"
Congratulations, Dan! And thank you for being part of your community 🫶🏻
