On Saturday, 41 young changemakers came together for the Food Impact Lab Activation Day,and this is just the beginning. 🌱

As part of our Turn the Tables project, we joined forces with Zugló Municipality, MATE, and AKI to create a full day of learning, collaboration, and real-world food system thinking.

Throughout the day, participants explored:
✅ Sustainable food systems & the role of AI in food
✅ Practical project design exercises
✅ Networking with like-minded changemakers
✅ Early ideas around food waste, local food systems, packaging, procurement & food awareness

The feedback spoke for itself, participants found the day practical, interactive, and idea-generating. Many left with sharper critical thinking and clearer direction for their projects.

What comes next? Participants can now apply for pilot funding through our Food Impact Lab. Selected teams will receive expert mentoring and hands-on implementation support to turn their ideas into action.
