How does the material of the future fit into the current industrial application?

Art is Business Magazine spoke with designer Péter Molnár, director of the MOME Design Institute, on the occasion of the Future Materials Conference starting on September 15.

"The future has already begun: just take a look at the diploma work of the graduates of the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts (MOME).

They are enthusiastic, creative, and ambitious. And of course, sustainability and environmental protection are not an issue for them" - says Péter Molnár about the university's students.

And they are also a little naive, he adds, which can be particularly good and can come handy, as thanks to their naivety, they can overcome the limitations that a person takes on over the years - based on bad experiences - and which hold them back.

Molnár Péter formatervezővel, a MOME Design Intézetének igazgatójával beszélgetett az Art is Business Magazin a szeptember 15-én kezdődő Future Materials Konferencia apropóján.

A jövő már elkezdődött: elég vetni egy pillantást a Moholy-Nagy Művészeti Egyetem (MOME) végzőseinek diplomamunkájára.

Lelkesek és kreatívak, ambiciózusak és a fenntarthatóság, a környezetvédelem nem is kérdés a számukra – mondja az egyetem diákjairól Molnár Péter.

És kicsit naivak is, teszi hozzá, ami kifejezetten jó és hasznos, hiszen e naivságnak köszönhetően tudják leküzdeni azokat a korlátokat, amelyeket az évek során az ember – a rossz tapasztalatok alapján – magára szed, és amelyek hátráltatják.
