“I was born in a small city called Pio IX - Piauí In northeast of Brazil!
I begun to practice artistic swimming at 29 years old and today I’m 34. And I always got hypnotized with this sport! In My first opportunity I hold it!

I practically didn't know how to swim. But I didn't give up!

The most memorable moment for me was when me and Fabiano became the first male duet of artistic swimming of Latin America! Last year ! Was an amazing felling!

I hope the artistic swimming grew up around the world! And the guys can compete in Olympic Games!

I’m 19 years old and I was born in New York. Both of my parents are Italian and I lived in Rome and Paris. When I moved to France I started synchro with a French club and then I got inspired by the change that the US was making and I decided to move to the US to train with the National team in order to follow my dream: the Olympic Games.
I would’ve never thought I would have the opportunity to represent the United States in team and in Mixed duet.
At the beginning I had some insecurities about swimming with Kenny ( ) because of our differences, however we have a very good connection and he really motivated me and made me believe that if I wanted I could do it. Being selected as one of the female athletes for mixed duet is an honor and was such an exciting moment for me.

In my opinion mixed duets are the most beautiful routines to watch in our sport as it represents strength, passion and complementarity. Swimming with Kenny made me discover a new aspect of this sport and made me grow as an athlete.
Our first mixed duet competition together in Paris, my home town, was the best moment I had this season so far. It was amazing to compete with Kenny, he is a person that I admire a lot. We have big goals together and I can’t wait to keep growing as a duet and to compete at worlds.

I’m Lucas Valliccioni, I’m fourteen years old .

I started synchro at ten, at the Acqua Synchro Bastia .synchro.bastia club because, I Swim with my cousin. I like swimming, gymnastics and competition.

Since I was little, I’ve always done sports in the water. Synchro is a very complete/varied sport.

When I'm in the water I try to transmit my emotions to the judges and the public to make them feel what I feel.
My main motivation is competition, when I’m in competition I try to give the best of myself to have/make the best possible results.
The most memorable moment I had was the European championships this summer in Croatia with the young french team when we were crowned European champions with my duetist Eva Lafontan ( .lafontan )it was just great to see all this work lead to this. Internationally, it's great to be able to compare yourself to other countries and exchange with them.
