New Roots Haiti's main goal is ending generational poverty in our village if Chiron. Since 2016 we have created nearly 40 dignigied, sustainable jobs on our farm. Although we also raise pigs and cows, our focus is chickens following the pastured poultry model. On our farm we have a feed mill and butcher shop where we process our own meat. We deliver and sell to over 100 locations across Northern H

🏗️ Week 2 Construction Update! 🏗️
What a HUGE week for our new school building!
After days of preparation, Wednesday marked a major milestone as the rafters were lifted into place. Watching the skeleton of the roof finally take shape was an exciting moment for everyone involved. Even better, everything went incredibly smoothly!
A huge shoutout to Extollo International for partnering with us and helping make the rafter installation a success. We are so grateful for their expertise, teamwork, and willingness to invest in this project alongside us.
The momentum didn't stop there!
On Thursday and Friday, our crew got right back to work installing the purlins across the roof structure. With each piece that goes up, the building looks less like a construction site and more like a school.
For years, this school existed only in our prayers, plans, and dreams. Now, week by week, we're watching it become a reality.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed, given, encouraged, and supported this project. Every beam, every bolt, and every milestone is possible because of people who believe in the children of Haiti.

🌱🥒 Our Preschoolers planted Cucumbers!
The children carefully filled seedling trays with soil, planted cucumber seeds, and discovered how something tiny can grow into food we eat every day. Their little hands were busy scooping dirt, making spaces for seeds, and exploring each step with excitement and curiosity. ☀️
Through hands-on discovery, they are learning that plants need soil, water, sunshine, and patience to grow. Activities like these encourage children to explore, ask questions, and learn through experience.
Moments like these remind us that some of the best learning happens when children can explore, wonder and discover. 🌱
