The World Championships parade and Opening Ceremony took place on Monday 18 September.

Speeches were made by Mr. Božidar Longin, Representative of Zadar County; Mr. Emil Čurko, Mayor of Nin; Mr. Frane Skoblar, General Manager Turisthotel; Mr Mislav Bjazic President Croatian Minigolf Federation and Dr Gerhard Zimmermann, President of the WMF.
