【Metakaku(R) 10th Anniversary】
Today marks the 10th anniversary of Metakaku(R)!

Ever since the technology came out, we made the re-attempt to grow pearls in Hong Kong once again. We asked our fellow pearl cultivators from Japan, Australia, French Polynesia, Indonesia, Philippines, and China to grow Metakaku(R) pearls for us. We have proven the concept.

We shifted gears to grow pearls in Hong Kong once again. We re-introduced Hong Kong pearl cultivation in the form of ecotourism. And then, we got hit by the global pandemic of COVID-19.

We witnessed the world of cultured pearls has advanced even more rapidly as we are now talking more about e-commerce, sustainable development, provenance, and so much more. Even we managed to re-define pearls into a sort of educational materials to inspire planet stewardship!

Yet, during these 10 years, we noticed news popping up here and there. With some certain gemological labs finding the presence of our technology in some pearl jewelries that were tested. Even though the presence was small, it was enough for us as we were brewing something great.

The brewing got long enough and we know where the new Metakaku(R) technology should head towards. One thing for sure is that it will not just be in the cultured pearl industry.
We are so happy that this year shall mark the year of Metakaku's renewal and revival! Our vision still stands today.
