This week, Principals, Chin Yong Ng (CY) and Michael Grimshaw, took to the stage at the 14th Annual Shopping Mall Summit in Hong Kong.



Alongside Horace Lam, CEO at K11 Concepts Limited; and Philip Lam, Associate Director of Retail at Savills, our team discussed the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in luxury retail developments on the “Elevating Exclusivity: Strategies for Luxury Retail Expansion in Malls” panel.



As moderator, Michael led the conversation, uncovering actionable insights towards future-proof investments, design innovation, and consumer engagement. Leveraging his experience in retail design and placemaking, CY shared the architects’ role in shaping consumer experience, while balancing commercial viability, aesthetics, and social responsibility.
